Our Culture

As a member of the North Shore Healthcare family, our center’s dedicated healthcare professionals strive to deliver quality care to those who have chosen us. Sheboygan Progressive Health Services’ goal is to create an environment that affords our residents the opportunity to be a partner in the care they receive, to develop trusting relationships with our caregivers, and to reach their highest level of independence. We are passionate about making our center The Right Choice for you or your loved one.

We have been serving Sheboygan and surrounding communities since 1965.  We are proud to be on the U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Home list for 2018.

We recently were awarded a 2019 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The Award Program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. As a recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award, we may now move forward in developing approaches and achieving performance levels that meet the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award criteria.

Admissions–Heather Davenport

“I really enjoy working with the elderly population and hearing their stories. My goal with every resident is to ensure the admission process is seamless and help relieve some of the stress the family feels.”

Business Office Manager–Susan Frazier

“Facing challenges and advocating for our residents is my passion. I make it my mission to ensure they have the most comfortable stay possible.”

“Everyone is so friendly. I feel right at home. The staff was great and they took good care of me. That is why I could eventually go back home! I came to Sheboygan Progressive to regain my strength and I was ready to go back home in a week and a half.”

– Lena Lauer

“I think of everyone at Sheboygan Progressive every day and am still filled with wonder at the care they provided. Without the help and persistence of the therapy team, I would not have been able to go home so soon. I feel I am a better person for having known the staff at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center.”
